Borovay ​Psychological Services is committed to enhancing the wellbeing of children, adolescents, families, and adults by addressing emotional, behavioural, and educational needs. The Center provides a safe and nurturing setting for families to seek guidance, support and specialized services to assist in their child's cognitive, social-emotional, and academic development. We offer comprehensive psychological and psycho-educational assessment and treatment to best meet each family's evolving needs.

Our assessments focus on identifying the underlying challenges that contribute to the presenting concerns. Our approach to testing provides insight into an individual’s learning strengths and weaknesses, cognitive functioning, information processing abilities, as well as psycho-social development. We pride ourselves on having a fast turn around from the initial intake session through to an individual receiving their assessment report. Our assessments include practical recommendations that can be implemented directly into an individual’s academic or work environment. We place an emphasis on helping individuals understand their profiles and we offer support in assisting families with a plan of action to ensure their child is set up for future success. We have an on-site educator who specializes in working with children with learning disabilities and/or ADHD who offers tutorial and educational support to provide a seamless transition from assessment to intervention. We are also excited to offer virtual coaching services to assist those who struggle with executive functioning weaknesses. 

 

Our team specializes in high-quality care both in terms of diagnostic assessment and treatment. We understand how stressful it can be when a family member is struggling, especially when it is a child or adolescent. We also know that parenting children through their developmental stages can be challenging. It is during these times that having the right supports in place can be beneficial. We work to assist parents through the parenting journey while also providing support to children as they navigate the obstacles that arise as they mature and develop. 

 

We offer a nurturing space where individuals can address the obstacles present within their lives, gain perspective, develop strategies to strengthen their relationships, improve communication, and increase their capacity to care for themselves and their loved ones.
